Edge Banding Adhesive for Furniture Manufacturing
Edge banding adhesive bonds PVC, ABS, veneer, and melamine edge strips to furniture panels. We manufacture EVA hot melt and PUR reactive edge banding adhesive for automatic edge banding machines, with grades matched to paper type, machine speed, and durability requirements.
The adhesive has three functions. Firstly, it provides a physical connection between the edge banding material and the panel substrate (MDF, particleboard, plywood or HDF). Second, it also fills the micro-roughness of the edge of the panel, which ensures complete contact over the surface to be bonded. Third, it should be enough to bend with the panel and the edges due to temperature and humidity changes, but not break or lose strength.
