Melamine Edge Banding

Melamine edge banding is a widely used furniture edge finishing material designed for MDF, particle board, melamine board and other wood-based panels. It is commonly applied in kitchen cabinets, custom wardrobes, office furniture, storage cabinets, hotel furniture and residential furniture manufacturing.

By covering exposed and vulnerable panel edges, melamine edge banding provides effective edge sealing and decorative protection while helping prevent moisture absorption, edge cracking, deformation and dust accumulation. It also creates a consistent appearance between furniture surfaces and panel edges, improving both durability and overall visual quality.

Through fine resin impregnation and high-temperature calendering, the surface is smooth, flat and uniform without visible particles, pits or uneven textures. The refined surface texture helps create a high-quality finish after edge banding.

Advanced printing and color control technology ensures consistent wood grain, solid colors and decorative patterns. Each batch is carefully matched with mainstream melamine boards, creating a seamless visual connection between edge and panel.

Made with 170g pure wood pulp base paper and high-quality melamine resin, the edge banding offers excellent toughness and folding resistance. It remains flexible during bending, trimming and automated processing without cracking or breaking.

The cured melamine structure provides excellent aging resistance, color stability and dimensional stability. It helps reduce problems such as fading, deformation, edge gaps and warping caused by long-term use or temperature changes.

Using pure wood pulp materials and low-formaldehyde melamine resin, our melamine edge banding meets international furniture environmental requirements. It is suitable for residential furniture, children’s furniture, office furniture and commercial projects.

We use 1270mm wide 170g pure wood pulp base paper to improve material utilization, texture consistency and overall product stability.

The base paper is treated with high-purity melamine resin through an automatic impregnation system, enhancing toughness, moisture resistance and surface hardness.

Advanced printing technology accurately restores wood grain, solid colors and decorative textures, ensuring excellent matching with MDF, particle board and melamine panels.

Optional hot melt adhesive coating and precision slitting are available according to customer requirements, ensuring strong bonding performance and smooth edges for automatic edge banding machines.

Each batch undergoes strict inspection before shipment. Finished products are packed with waterproof and protective packaging to ensure safe international transportation.
