Natural White Oak Material

White Oak Edge Banding is constructed with natural white oak sliced veneer, thus providing the authentic grain and color of real oak to exposed furniture panel edges.
- Real Oak Grain: Uses a natural white oak grain instead of a wood print to create a natural wood edge look on furniture.
- Two Grain Styles: They come in straight grain (for a plain, straight look) and cathedral grain (for a more decorative pattern).
- Coordinated Furniture Finish: Appropriate for finishing exposed edges of MDF, particleboard, plywood and other wood panels. It can be paired with white oak finishes on cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, desks and other furniture.
- Natural Wood Character: Naturally occurring color and grain variations are acceptable. If a more accurate match to your main panel is desired, a reference sample or colour specification can be given.
White Oak Grain Patterns
White Oak Edge Banding comes in two oak grain patterns: straight grain and cathedral grain. Every pattern has a unique style to it, which you can select the right one that suits your furniture panels.
Straight Grain White Oak Edge Banding
Straight grain has long, parallel lines that produce a uniform and distinct wood grain. It’s suitable for contemporary furniture styles, flat front cabinets and panels that require a straightforward and linear oak look.
Cathedral Grain White Oak Edge Banding
Cathedral grain refers to the type of grain that has curved, arching patterns, making the oak look more decorative and prominent. The unique grain is used in furniture edges to enhance the design and is a good filler for panels with more dramatic wood grain.
Choose the Grain for Your Project
When choosing a grain pattern, take into account the look of your primary furniture panel and the total design. Straight grain has a more linear appearance, cathedral grain emphasizes the natural pattern of oak. When asking, you can include a picture or sample of the grain you prefer to have if you know what it looks like.

2. What should I consider when choosing edge banding for a production project?
Take into account the panel build-up, end product look, size and application process at factory. These information assist in deciding the product choice.
3. Should I test the edge banding before using it in production?
Testing on a representative panel is suggested for a new material or application. This gives you the opportunity to evaluate the look and applicability under your own production environment.
